Is there any way to break into the Condo selling business without having a real estate license?
i would like to do that because i think i'd be good at it able to sell alot of properties to rich people i know , but i'm just wondering if i need any type of license and why?i actually think it's stupid you would need a license because isn't the main thing just to sell the product? i'm a very good sales person.i have heard of people being barred from being able to sell real estate or having their licenses taken away, so i'm assuming the answer to my question maybe is " yes you do need one" but why? and is there anywhere where i don't? .. it seems like people based on the net might be able to get around all that?... ok well then, say i know an agent ... could they just give me a finders fee, for sending clientelle there way, and if so, does anyone know how much that might be?like say on a $500,000 dollar condo or something?... why are finders fees illegal?i had no idea though and i thank you all for your help

She even helped me realize my rights to a Good Faith Estimate when my shady lender denied me one. My shady lender also tried to force me to buy a home in the high range, but my real estate agent actually recommended and showed me a home below what we qualified for that is beautiful. We will be closing soon, but I was wondering, is it appropriate to give her a gift after all is said and done?I told my husband that maybe we should get her a Bath and Body Works gift set, but he said that would be too 'personal' and even offensive in a way. If a real estate contract expires before money exchanges hands, is it void?
Have a building that caught fire the day before closing. New buyer is waiting to see what the insurance payout will be, but the fire was suspicious so it is taking a long time to determine cause. In the meantime, the real estate contract with the realtor expired. It has been 3 mos. since fire, and 2 mos. since the contract expired. All papers were signed, but no money has exchanged hands. This is in Nova Scotia Canada.
